Bloodstock Festival announce another six bands

Six more bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

It’s almost Valentines Day and Bloodstock‘s true love is metal of all kinds! With that in mind, the festival got five more bands lined up for a hot date at Catton Park this summer.

CANCER BATS land a Ronnie James Dio main stage slot on Saturday, Norwegian black metallers TAAKE land a headlining slot on the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday and Brit crew RAGING SPEEDHORN will perform as special guests on the Sophie Lancaster stage on the festival’s Friday.

Also confirmed to perform in today’s announcement is SHVPES, GENERATION KILL and Metal 2 The Masses 2014 alumni RESIN.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, CANCER BATS says, “yeah! Mutha fucking Bloodstock!!! Many hails to our dark lord Lucifer for allowing us to grace the stage on this truly metal day! We’re stoked to rip this fucker with all our UK brothers and sisters! Let’s DO this!!”

Bloodstock Festival takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 8th-11th August 2019. Standard weekend tickets, priced £145, are on sale now and can be purchased here.
