Bloodstock Festival announce nine new bands

Bloodstock Festival have revealed nine new bands for next year’s festival!

After announcing the likes of JINJER, ENFORCED, HATEBREED, SLEEP TOKEN, and more, back in September, now on Halloween, nine new bands have been announced for the UK’s biggest metal festival!

Leading the charge in tonight’s announcement is BEHEMOTH who will headline the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Friday, whilst SPIRITWOLRD and DARK FUNERAL will perform next year as UK festival exclusives. Also confirmed is Austrian blackened death metallers BELPHEGOR, HEART OF A COWARD, FEROCIOUS DOG, BLOOD YOUTH, BLACK TONGUE and HERIOT.

Speaking about performing at next year’s festival, BEHEMOTH frontman Nergal says, “Bloodstock has a very special place in BEHEMOTH’s heart. They are one of the first major European metal festivals who took risks to position BEHEMOTH as a festival headliner; a game changer for us in the UK! I can’t wait to get back onto the legendary grounds of Catton Park and raise some monumental hell with our legions! Until August!”

BELPHEGOR frontman Helmuth comments, “hail! We are proud to announce that BELPHEGOR was again invited to the ingenious Bloodstock Open Air in Derbyshire, England in August 2022 and we will shred the Sophie Lancaster Stage. Be prepared!”

Bloodstock Festival 2022 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11th August – 14th August 2022. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
