Bloodstock Festival announce six more bands

Six more bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

After announcing nineteen bands for this year’s metal extravaganza earlier this month, now, another six bands have been confirmed for the UK’s biggest metal festival!

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Norwegian symphonic black metallers DIMMU BORGIR have been forced to postpone to 2022, but, CRADLE OF FILTH have been announced as their replacement as Saturday’s Ronnie James Dio Stage sub-headliner.

Speaking about withdrawing from this year’s festival DIMMU BORGIR‘s management says, “due to restrictions and uncertainties regarding international travel and logistics, we have to postpone DIMMU BORGIR´s performance at Bloodstock until next year. The band is absolutely gutted about this, having to cancel Bloodstock again, but we have already confirmed with Vicky and the Bloodstock team that the band will be back in the UK for the 2022 edition. Stay safe!”

Also confirmed in today’s announcement is British thrashers ONSLAUGHTBEHOLDER (who will be performing their farewell show), WARD XVIRAISED BY OWLS and ANAKIM. These five new bands have been confirmed for the Sophie Lancaster Stage bill on the extra additional day, Wednesday August 11th.

Bloodstock Festival will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11th-15th August 2021. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
