Bright & Black release new music video for ‘Nidhugg’

BRIGHT & BLACK have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Nidhugg, is taken from the orchestral heavy metal project’s upcoming debut album, The Album, which is scheduled to be released in January next year, via self-release.

Speaking about the new song, composer Fredrik Åkesson [OPETH] says, “it’s quite overwhelming when you hear a symphony orchestra perform your music. With a stellar production and arrangement. The goal with Nidhugg was to create something dark and epic. It’s been interesting and inspiring all the way. Sincerely hope you will enjoy Nidhugg.”

The full-scale Dolby Atmos album production of the project was recorded with an orchestra of 65 players in the fall 2022 at the Estonian National Radio studio in Tallinn. The album was produced by Jacob Hellner, performed by Baltic Sea Philharmonic, and conducted by Kristjan Järvi. Orchestrations were conducted by Jonny Abraham and additional recordings took place at Urban Sound, Oslo. The postproduction and mix took place at Big Island Sound in Stockholm.
