Brightshade release new music video for ‘Believe’
BRIGHTSHADE have released a new music video!
The new track, Believe, marks the third single from the emerging alternative metal outfit, who launched this year. Blending the groove-driven energy of nu-metal with modern alternative metal production, BRIGHTSHADE continue to develop their immersive audiovisual vision with a track that explores themes of faith, loss, and the search for meaning in the face of tragedy.
Speaking about the song, vocalist Dan Hill shares, “for some, faith and belief holds us up, for others it holds us down, leaving us with painful unanswered questions. Believe explores the singer’s (Dan) relationship with an afterlife and powers outside of his control, the struggles of faith, and how he wishes he Believed, to make the horrors of reality and the struggle of loss seem less brutal and unforgiving.
‘Can it make more sense to me, I am begging’ and ‘I wish I knew better’ directly confront the singer’s urge for an answer that softens the blows of loss. We are all ‘up against it all’ and BRIGHTSHADE does not shy away from asking the questions that echo in our minds when we are at our lowest.”
