Brutus release new music video for ‘Cemetery’

BRUTUS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Cemetery, is taken from the band’s upcoming new album Nest which is scheduled to be released in March.

Speaking about the new song and music video, the band says, “at the end of our recording time in Vancouver we visited our management and US label Sargent House in Los Angeles. Our manager Cathy‘s home is in the mountains and has this most beautiful garden, and we immediately knew we wanted this garden to feature at some point in something that BRUTUS would create. So we’re incredibly pleased to have had the video for our new track Cemetery shot there. Dancer Jarret and director Mitch Wells (from the awesome band THOU) got one message: just go completely nuts in the gardens, and we love what they captured. Spending time over there after just recording the new album felt like the closing chapter to our debut album Burst, and subsequently the colours refer to the artwork of that album; this ends a chapter and is a new beginning, from now on we only look forward. The track is about doubts. You just try so hard to just keep going and doing the best you can. But in fact, sometimes you only get shit in return. People don’t always backup the choices you’re making. The aggression in the high guitar notes resemble the irritation we felt towards everyone who was not driving along with us. In the second, compelling part we are asking them to give us time, so we can process what they’re saying.”

Nest is set for release on March 29th via Hassle Records (Europe) and Sargent House (ROTW).
