Carnifex announce new album ‘Graveside Confessions’

CARNIFEX have announced a new album!

Titled Graveside Confessions, the upcoming album from the American blackened deathcore band is the follow-up to 2019’s World War X and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Nuclear Blast Records.

The upcoming album features the previously released singles Pray For PeaceSeven Souls and their cover of KORN‘s Dead Bodies Everywhere. With the engineering of the record completed in-house by drummer Shawn Cameron, the band recorded the album at Back Lounge Studios in San Diego, CA almost entirely themselves with the help of Mick Kenney [ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH] for the mixing and mastering. The album arose just in time to aid in celebrating the 15 year anniversary of their debut album, Dead In My Arms. The band revisited their first album to re-record three songs, but now with huge advancements in production technology.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “this is an immensely personal album to all four of us. We poured our hearts with all the love, fear, and pain we know into this album. Please take the journey with us.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track Graveside Confessions. The new music video was directed by Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera.
