Celeste announce new album ‘Assassine(s)’

CELESTE have announced a new album!

Titled Assassine(s), the upcoming album from the French avant-garde black metal band is scheduled to be released in January next year, making their label debut at new home Nuclear Blast Records.

The upcoming album was produced by Chris Edrich [GOJIRA, TESSERACT, THE OCEAN, LEPROUS] and is the long awaited follow-up to 2017’s Infidèle(s).

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Des Torrents de Coups. The new song’s accompanying music video was directed by Grégoire Orio.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band says, “we’re glad to unleash our first single. This track is the first one we started writing for the new album, but it’s also one of the last we finished. It’s pretty representative of the reflection we had all along the creation process of Assassine(s), I hope you’ll enjoy the new sonorities and our new approach to the songwriting. This epic song comes with the videoclip it deserves, Des Torrents de Coups is the first part of a video triptych to be released in the coming months, produced in collaboration with video artist Grégoire Orio. Those videoclips totally emphasise our well know imagery.”
