Ch’ahom announce new album ‘Anthropic Rites Of Sublimation’

CH’AHOM have announced a brand new album!

The German blackened death metal outfit have revealed their sophomore full-length album, Anthropic Rites Of Sublimation, which is scheduled for release on September 18th via 20 Buck Spin. The upcoming record follows the band’s Ts’ono’ot EP and continues its conceptual narrative, unfolding within a fictional world inspired by the rituals, art and architecture of pre-Hispanic cultures.

The album explores four civilizations built around a mysterious cenote whose cosmic call compels its followers towards self-sacrifice, using the concept as a lens through which to examine culture, faith and humanity’s fascination with annihilation.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have also unveiled Cult Of Xaman, the opening track from the forthcoming record.
