Coffins announce new album ‘Sinister Oath’

COFFINS have announced a new album!

Titled Sinister Oath, the upcoming album from the veteran Japanese death/doom metal band is the follow-up to 2019’s Beyond The Circular Demise, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Relapse Records.

Recorded ahead of the band’s 25th anniversary in Tokyo, Sinister Oath intends to further cements the band’s legacy as one of the most putrid sounding and uncompromising old school death metal bands in the world. The album features artwork from Axel Hermann [ASPHYX, BLOODBATH, DEMOLITION HAMMER, SODOM and more].

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; Spontaneous Rot.
