Cold Night For Alligators release new music video for ‘Thin Line’

COLD NIGHT FOR ALLIGATORS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Thin Line, is taken from the Danish progressive metal band’s upcoming new album, The Hindsight Notes, which is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Arising Empire.

The new music video is the latest single to be unveiled from the upcoming album; following on from the release of VerismNostalgic and No Connection.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Johan Pedersen says, “during the writing of the album, I became a father for the first time under quite dramatic circumstances. It was a time of extreme uncertainty and a huge emotional rollercoaster. The lyrics for Thin Line are about taking a moral inventory during this time and while settling into my new identity as a parent – considering my flaws and past failures, the example I was setting and how to improve. Paradoxically, this was a quite lonely journey, but I found a lot of release creating music and lyrics around it.

This record is about us growing up and finding ourselves, and this was the quintessential experience for me during the whole process. It’s a heavy theme, but I’m very happy with how it came out.
The lyric video mirrors this – there’s no quick fix on this topic, so we went for a static, contemplative and tense mood.”
