Contention release new song ‘Ousted From Eden’

CONTENTION have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Ousted From Eden, is taken from the Florida-based metallic hardcore band’s upcoming debut album, Artillery From Heaven, which is scheduled to be released in May this year, via DAZE.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Cosmo says, “Ousted From Eden is about my experience with big cities and the endless spread of civilization. I grew up on a small farm and didn’t visit any major cities until I was 17. When I finally did, I was horrified by the way city people lived. As a young redneck, I couldn’t comprehend the lack of quiet woods or the inescapable smell of piss even in the richest parts of town. No hate for city dwellers…but that life is just foreign to me.”
