Control The Storm release new cover of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Holding Out For A Hero’

CONTROL THE STORM have released a brand new song!

The new song, a cover of BONNIE TYLER‘s classic hit Holding Out For A Hero, is the brand new single from the UK melodic metal band and comes ahead of their performance at this year’s Download Festival.

Speaking about the new cover, bassist/backing vocalist Paul O’Shea says, “we decided to focus on and record Holding Out For A Hero because it transferred so amazingly well into our own musical style – it almost feels like one of our own songs.”

On opening the Download second stage, guitarist Matt Smith adds, “Download is without a doubt a dream come true gig for us. Being able to share the stage with artists that we grew up listening to; artists that helped form who we are as musicians. Now it’s our turn to take to that stage, put on one a hell of a show, and prove that’s where we belong.”
