Cosmic Putrefaction announce new album ‘Crepuscular Dirge For The Blessed Ones’

COSMIC PUTREFACTION have announced a new album!

Titled Crepuscular Dirge For The Blessed Ones, the upcoming album from the Italian one-man death metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s The Horizons Towards Which Splendour Withers, and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Profound Lore Records.

The upcoming album was engineered and mixed by Gabriele Gramaglia, with drum engineering by Alessio Cattaneo, mastered by Dan Lowndes, and completed with artwork by David Glomba [SVARTIDAUÐITEITANBLOOD, ASCENSION] and layout by Chimere Noire.

Crepuscular Dirge For The Blessed Ones sees sole mastermind Gabriele Garmaglia continue the COSMIC PUTREFACTION narrative begun on the previous album where the only survivor from an apocalyptic annihilation of a dying planet walks towards its withered horizons. On the upcoming album, this character ultimately finds an even more sorrowful truth at the end of his journey; one that shows the empyrean fall of man through the metaphysical world and the gods who inhabit it.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released the first song from the upcoming album; Amniotic Bewilderment.
