Dagoba announce new album ‘By Night’

DAGOBA have announced a new album!

Titled By Night, the upcoming album from the French metal band is the follow-up to 2017’s Black Nova and is scheduled to be released in February next year, making their label debut at Napalm Records.

Speaking about the upcoming new album, the band says, “we live in challenging times, and that’s not only because of the strength-sapping pandemic. Sometimes the world seems to be a dark place. We know it’s an ambitious project, but we really want our fans to feel good, and contribute to their happiness. Therefore, we deliver our blend of metal music. During the weeks and months in the lockdown period we had so much time to have a focus on the album production. We could look at every detail in each track, and after all By Night has become our most accomplished album so far. We are really happy with the new record and cannot wait to share it with our fans and the world.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; The Last Crossing. The new single is the second song to be released from the forthcoming album, following on from The Hunt, which was released back in July.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band says, “while our last video for The Hunt was more focused on cinematic storytelling, The Last Crossing rather showcases the full band line-up and our strength as a performing band. We feel like DAGOBA have never been as strong and tight as now, and the The Last Crossing video transports that energy perfectly.”
