Damnation Festival announce another six bands

Damnation Festival have confirmed another six bands for this year’s festival!

Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM will perform at this year’s Damnation. Following a headline set at London’s sold-out Incineration Festival, they will return to UK shores on Saturday, November 2nd, to play the main stage at Leeds University Union alongside OPETH.

Also making their debuts at this year’s event are Icelandic rockers THE VINTAGE CARAVAN, Norwegian black metallers GAAHLS WYRD, American doom/sludge outfit INTER ARMA, enigmatic synthwave duo GOST and Belgium death metallers CARNATION. The six new additions bolster a four-stage bill which already boast the likes of PRIMORDIAL, VENOM PRISON, BLOOD RED THRONE and more.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, INTER ARMA says, “I’ll be damned, we’re playing Damnation! Damn.” Festival organiser Gavin McInally says, “in any other year, we’d be delighted to have MAYHEM headline Damnation, so to have them play and then OPETH to follow is quite incredible. Debuts by THE VINTAGE CARAVAN, GHAALS WYRD, INTER ARMA, GOST and CARNATION not only highlight our efforts to keep our line-ups fresh after 14 years, but the diversity and depth Damnation has become renowned for. And there’s still plenty more to come…”

Damnation Festival 2019 takes place at Leeds University Union, Leeds on November 2nd 2019. Tickets, priced at £49, are available now and can be purchased here.
