Damnation Festival announce five new bands

Five new bands have been announced for this year’s Damnation Festival!

Following last month’s announcement, which saw KATATONIA announced, now, another five bands have been confirmed for the annual metal festival in Manchester this November.

Post-rock giants, MAYBESHEWILL and NORDIC GIANTS, lead the charge in the new announcement whilst Scottish death metallers COFFIN MULCH and Dutch avant-garde black metal trio LASTER will all perform across the day. In addition, English black metallers THE INFERNAL SEA will perform on the Cult Never Dies Stage at A Night Of Salvation.

Speaking about playing at this year’s festival, MAYBESHEWILL says, “we’re extremely flattered to be invited back to Damnation. It’s a festival we have a long history with and one that consistently has an incredible audience to play for. We can’t wait to experience it at the new venue.”

Festival organiser Gavin McInally adds, “we’ve been a little light on the post-rock this year so we’re delighted to add two of the very best instrumental bands on the planet to the lineup. NORDIC GIANTS will open the main Pins & Knuckles Merchandise Stage, taking advantage of the huge screens for the cinematic experience of their live show, while MAYBESHEWILL will close the Eyesore Merch Stage in a rare live outing which is sure to be a highlight of the day. We’re also delighted to offer COFFIN MULCH an arena-size platform at Damnation, as one of the most exciting death metal bands in the UK right now, while LASTER give the line-up another fresh twist with their unique electro-black metal acid trip.”
