Damnation Festival confirm another five bands

Five more bands have been announced for this year’s Damnation Festival!

After confirming ELDER and HIGH COMMAND last week, the organisers of the UK’s special one day extreme metal festival have confirmed another five bands for 2021’s festival!

American death metal band INCANTATION, UK doom titans CONAN and black metallers ABIGAIL WILLIAMS lead the charge in today’s announcement whilst tech death five-piece VALE OF PNATH and avant-garde noise trio BEHOLD… THE ARCTOPUS round off the latest announcement for the 16th edition of the festival. The new additions join a stacked bill boasting the likes of PIG DESTROYER, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, ELDER, BLOOD INCANTATION, ONSLAUGHT, PALLBEARER and BELL WITCH and AERIAL RUIN‘s collaboration, Stygian Bough.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, INCANTATION‘s John McEntee says, “it will be awesome to play at Damnation with an amazing lineup of bands. We will be playing songs from our highly successful album, Sect of Vile Divinities, along with choice classic and rare tracks from throughout our over 30-year career. So expect a night of uncompromising death metal!”

CONAN‘s Jon Davies adds, “we’re excited to return to Damnation Festival, one of the UK’s best shows. See you there!”

Damnation Festival 2021 takes place at Leeds University Union, Leeds on November 6th 2021. Tickets are available now (priced at 2019’s £53) and can be purchased here.
