Damnation Festival reveal Bossk for ‘A Night Of Salvation’ pre-show
Damnation Festival have announced BOSSK for their A Night Of Salvation pre-show!
After announcing a double header of Japanese black metallers SIGH last month, now, the annual metal festival in Manchester have announced another band for their A Night Of Salvation pre-show!
UK post-metal band BOSSK will perform at the pre-show where they will perform 2016’s debut album, Audio Noir, in its entirety.
Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, the band says, “we have been discussing doing the album in full after performing it at Roadburn in 2019 and we wanted to do it somewhere equally as special to us. Since playing Damnation for the first time in 2012, the festival has felt like family to us, both the audience and the team behind it. The last main stage show we did there was a historic landmark for the band, and it felt only right to perform Audio Noir full in 2023. This will be the only time we do it in full for the foreseeable future. We have new ideas and plans for a truly special show, and we can’t wait to see you in November. Hail the riff.”
Damnation organiser, Gavin McInally, adds, “over the past decade BOSSK have been woven into the fabric of Damnation, from their return show in 2012, performing their .1 EP in 2016, to their standout main stage performance in support of Migration in 2021. This one-off performance of Audio Noir – the band’s finest hour – cannot be missed. Without being dramatic, Atom Smasher with full arena production behind it, is going change lives. Hail the riff.”
Damnation Festival 2023 takes place at BEC Arena, Manchester on November 3rd-4th 2023. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
