Defeater announce new self-titled album

DEFEATER have announced a new album!

The upcoming self-titled album, their fifth studio album, and first for four years will be released in May this year.

The upcoming album was produced with Will Yip (QUICKSAND, LA DISPUTE, BLACKLISTED, Ms. Lauryn Hill) whose enthusiasm and talent pushed the songs to their fullest potential. The album shows the band at their most devastating and sonically arresting to date. It is as pummeling as it is atmospheric.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song from the upcoming record; titled Mothers’ Sons.
