Deitus release new music video for ‘Voyeur’

DEITUS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Voyeur, is taken from the UK black metal band’s upcoming new album, Irreversible, which is scheduled to be released in July this year.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band says, Voyeur is our first ever collaborative track and it was treated as a project unto itself. It’s an exploration of the direct terror of sleep paralysis through the eyes of suffering lead vocalist, Toni Coe-Brooker. The song itself is far removed from anything we’ve previously done artistically. We painstakingly crafted an emotive canvass for Toni to deliver her chilling performance. What results is an undeniably powerful soundscape and cinematic music video.”

Guest vocalist Toni Coe-Brooker adds, “I was invited by DEITUS to channel my childhood trauma from nyctophobia, which stems from my endless struggle with sleep-paralysis, into Voyeur. It was agony at times to delve into areas of that emotional territory because it is still something I suffer with today.”

Irreversible is set for release on July 14th via Candlelight Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
