Desertfest Berlin announce first wave of bands for 2027
Desertfest Berlin have announced the first bands for their 2027 festival!
The festival will return to the Columbia Venues Berlin, Germany from May 14th-16th, 2027, with organisers unveiling the first wave of artists set to appear at next year’s edition.
Leading the announcement are experimental sludge and stoner metal legends MELVINS, alongside a diverse selection of heavy music talent including A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, HÄLLAS, BONGRIPPER, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, GNOME, INTER ARMA, CARDIEL, PINK FUZZ, SPECK, VINNUM SABBATHI and SMOKE BLOW.
The first announcement also includes appearances from heavy garage punk supergroup PRIMITIVE RING and Tasmanian newcomers SPOOKY EYES, who will make one of their first ever European festival appearances at the event.
With dozens more artists still to be announced, the festival promises another celebration of stoner, doom, sludge, psychedelic and heavy rock music following a successful 2026 edition, which saw two of the festival’s three days sell out.
