Distant announce new album ‘Into Despair’

Titled Into Despair, the upcoming release from the Rotterdam/Bratislava-based deathcore outfit is set for release on November 6th via Century Media Records. The record follows 2024’s Tsukuyomi: The Origin and is described as the band’s most personal and emotional work to date, exploring themes of grief, loss, resilience, and shared human suffering.

Speaking about the album, the band shares, “driven by raw honesty and pure emotion, Into Despair is an album born from personal battles and lived experiences. Every song carries pieces of each member’s own journey, with moments of pain, reflection, and resilience woven into a deeply intimate body of work. More than just a collection of songs, Into Despairis a cathartic expression of vulnerability and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, grief is something we all share. It stands as the band’s most heartfelt and authentic statement yet, transforming personal suffering into something universally resonant.”

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single, All Will Be (N)one, featuring Ricky Myers of SUFFOCATION.

The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Desolation, Nothing Left To Hate, Spirit (feat. Tyler Beam of THE LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE) and Rat Torture.

Speaking about the track, the band explains, “All Will Be (N)One is a bleak, atmospheric track that explores humanity’s fear of death and the inevitability of time’s collapse. Blending crushing riffs with relentless rhythms, the song builds a sense of slow-burning dread before erupting into moments of raw confrontation. Lyrically, it shifts the perspective from resistance to acceptance. The feature from Ricky Myers of SUFFOCATION adds an extra layer of intensity and authority, reinforcing the track’s central message: that everything fades, and all will be (n)one.”
