Doomsday Festival Reveals Lineup

Most people associate Hastings, UK with elderly citizens, rolling countrysides and eating ice cream on the sunny beach; here was something that wasn’t expected, Doomsday Festival.

Last year local promoters Dinko Pehlic and James Wyatt placed a showcase for some of the best talent in the local underground Extreme Metal scene on the coast of Hastings. This was headlined by KING GOAT, one of Brighton’s best upcoming Doom/Progressive acts, and DESOLATOR, one of Southampton’s best Thrash Metal trios so no wonder it sold out last year.

This year it will be headlined by Brighton Stoner act ENOS; the first thing it states about this group is that they have built a reputation over the past five years as one of the bands to be seen and heard loud and live. Their first recording Chapter One that was released in 2010 has cemented this and their second release of All Too Human reinforced this in 2012.  Since this second release they had gone on tour around Europe and the UK as well as playing the biggest festivals.

The main support will be coming from UK Black Metal quartet THE INFERNAL SEA. They formed in early 2010 and their style roots within traditional Black Metal. They are not afraid to push boundaries and experiment with their sound. Having shared a stage with the likes of NAPALM DEATH, ANAAL NATHRAKH and 1349 it clear they aren’t ones to miss.

Support comes from some of the best talent in the underground industry; these include Death/Thrash quartet KING LEVIATHAN who are fresh off the New Blood stage at Bloodstock 2015, Bristol based MORDRAKE who draw in audiences with their engaging live shows, Brighton Death Metal act ENSLAVEMENT whose chaotic live shows do more than sit well with audiences and many more are on the bill.
