Download Festival has revealed the first acts set to perform at the highly anticipated annual Derbyshire-based event in 2017.
It has been announced that SYSTEM OF A DOWN, BIFFY CLYRO and AEROSMITH will be headlining the three nights of Download Festival 2017.
It will be the first time that Scottish rockers BIFFY CLYRO have headlined the iconic festival. However, 2017 will mark the return of SYSTEM OF A DOWN who last headlined the festival in 2011 and legendary rockers AEROSMITH who closed the Sunday night of Download in 2014.
Also added to bill is SLAYER, PROPHETS OF RAGE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, ROB ZOMBIE, AFI, OF MICE & MEN, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, SIMPLE PLAN, EVERY TIME I DIE, FOZZY and THE STORY SO FAR.
The festival will be taking place between June 9th – 11th 2017 at Donington Park. Pre-sale tickets have sold out for the event, but standard tickets will be released on Friday at 10am which can be purchased from Download Festival’s official website.
