Dreadnought announce new album ‘Wars Of Spirit // Wards Of Light’
DREADNOUGHT have announced a brand new album!
The Colorado progressive metal outfit have revealed their new album, Wars Of Spirit // Wards Of Light, which is scheduled for release on September 11th via Vesperian. The upcoming record follows 2022’s The Endless.
According to the band, Wars Of Spirit // Wards Of Light represents the most clearly defined and boldly reinvented chapter of their career to date. The album moves between chaos, purity and power, incorporating synthesizers and electronic elements into a more immediate songwriting approach while retaining the expansive, otherworldly qualities that have long defined the band’s sound.
The forthcoming record was mixed by Julius Mauranen of ORANSSI PAZUZU and mastered by Jaakko Viitalähde, while its artwork was created by Eisner Award-winning artist Christian Ward.
To coincide with the announcement, the band have also unveiled Colors of Our Broken Hearts, the second single to be taken from the upcoming album, following the release of The Archive.
