Earthbong announce new album ‘Salutation to the Cultivators’
EARTHBONG have announced a brand new album!
The Kiel, Germany-based stoner doom trio have revealed their fourth studio album, Salutation to the Cultivators, which is scheduled for release on October 23rd via The Lasting Dose Records. The upcoming record follows 2023’s Church Of Bong and and marks their first album for the Berlin-based label.
According to the band, the album serves as both a tribute to cannabis cultivators and a homage to the pioneers of the stoner doom genre.
Speaking about the new album, the band shares, “Salutation to the Cultivators is a line taken from SLEEP‘s Giza Butler track, as the album is meant as a homage, not only to the cultivators of weed but also to the cultivators of the stoner doom genre. As we have started with long-form songs and a more unconventional approach to songwriting and structures, we feel that this is our most accessible album yet.”
To coincide with the announcement, the band have also unveiled Third Eye, the first single to be taken from the upcoming album. The new song was first premiered via our friends at The Obelisk.
