Elder Devil announce new album ‘Everything Worth Loving’

ELDER DEVIL have announced a new album!

Titled Everything Worth Loving, the upcoming album from the American grindcore band is the follow-up to 2019’s The Light Dimmed Eternal, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Prosthetic Records.

Upon completing writing for the musical components of Everything Worth Loving in January 2021, vocalist Stephen Muir took meticulous care in penning the lyrics to their sophomore’s 13 tracks. With the passing of his mother at the forefront of his mind, Everything Worth Loving is tinged with personal loss and a sense of displacement.

With guitarist Jacob Lee once again taking on production duties, ELDER DEVIL commenced recording and mixing sessions between April and May of 2022 before handing over mastering duties to Jacob Plotkin [CAVE IN, OLD MAN GLOOM, STREET SECTS etc].

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Endless Need. Speaking about the upcoming album, and the new song, the band says, Everything Worth Loving is about the inevitability of loss, the persistence of grief, and the disorientation of life after death. Endless Need perfectly encapsulates the frustration and anger that lingers long after that loss and serves as a reminder that time does not heal all wounds.”
