Eleine announce new EP ‘Acoustic In Hell’

ELEINE have announced a new EP!

Titled Acoustic In Hell, the upcoming EP from the Swedish symphonic metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Dancing In Hell, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Atomic Fire Records.

The upcoming EP features eight acoustic renditions of some of their most well-known material. Recorded within only a week in January 2022 in their dear friend Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson’s The Panic Room Studio in Skara, the upcoming EP intends to showcase an elevation thanks to a performance courtesy of Madeleine Liljestam who recorded all her vocals in just under three hours.

Speaking about the upcoming EP, vocalist Madeleine Liljestam says, “we had never done acoustic versions of our music before, so approaching this challenge was something new to us.” Guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg adds, “the main thing we had in mind for these versions was to keep the essence of our metal, to keep it raw and authentic. There is weight to our music, and it’s important not to make it overproduced and cute when you get this opportunity.”

Alongside the announcement of the new EP, you can view both the track list and artwork for the upcoming EP below:

1. Whisper My Child
