Enslaved and Insomnium announce co-headline North American tour
ENSLAVED and INSOMNIUM have announced a co-headlining North American tour!
Set for April next year, the tour will see the Norwegian progressive black metal band teaming up with Finnish melodeath heavyweights INSOMNIUM for a co-headlining run across North America.
Support for the tour comes from BLACK ANVIL and the tour will see ENSLAVED support their upcoming new album, Heimdal, which is scheduled to be released in March whilst INSOMNIUM will support their upcoming new album, Anno 1696, which will be released in February. Speaking about the tour, guitarist Ivar Bjørnson says, “neither you nor we will BELIEVE how much we are looking forward to coming back to the US of A and Canada in April 2023! We have a new album (and more if you want to be technical), Heimdal, to show you – spoiler alert: it will lay venues waste. Yes, we are that confident. We also have some rather cosmically awesome (!) bands joining the trek in co-headliners INSOMNIUM and support BLACK ANVIL – how could this become anything but the most spectacular event of 2023?”
