Fortress Festival announces dungeon synth stage artists for 2027
Fortress Festival have announced a host of new additions for their 2027 edition!
The black metal festival has unveiled the first artists set to perform on its expanded dungeon synth stage, which will now run across both days of the event in Scarborough Spa’s theatre space. The newly announced acts join a bill already featuring EMPEROR, GRIS, GRÀB, YELLOW EYES, FORTERESSE, HAVUKRUUNU and more.
Leading the announcement is the worldwide live debut of French dungeon synth pioneer ERANG. Also confirmed are WRAITH KNIGHT for a UK exclusive and debut performance, SPECTRAL CASTLE for a live debut, alongside HOLE DWELLER, ATLANTEAN SWORD, LORD BAKARTIA and DRAGONKEEP.
Speaking about his first-ever live performance, ERANG shares, “this music is all my life, and I give everything I have to it. For the longest time, it has been such a solitary thing to craft. 2027 will mark the 15th anniversary of my first album, TOME I, and for the first time, I’ve decided to create a live performance around the Land of the Five Seasons. Because the people who enjoy my music have been asking for this for so many years, and their support is the only thing that matters to me: the Kingdom is Ours!”
