Frank Iero involved in serious traffic incident in Sydney
Former MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE member Frank Iero has been taken to hospital, as well as crew members from his current band FRANK IERO AND THE PATIENCE after being involved in a bus crash in Sydney, Australia.
The bus crash said to have took place at 5:30pm after a Sydney city bus crashed into the band’s van whilst they were unloading gear, causing two injuries and one person having to be airlifted.
It has been reported that one of the men was treated on site, with the other two going to hospital. It is unconfirmed who was taken into hospital or the severity of their injuries.
FRANK IERO AND THE PATIENCE were due to perform at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, however this has now been cancelled with ticket holders receiving full refunds.
The band’s bass player Alexander Paul tweeted the following:
