Future Palace announce new album ‘Run’

FUTURE PALACE have announced a new album!

Titled Run, the upcoming album from the German post-hardcore band is the follow-up to 2020’s debut, Escape, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Arising Empire.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Heads Up. The song was produced by Julian Breucker [BEYOND THE BLACK] and mixed/mastered by ANNISOKAY guitarist Christoph Wieczorek. The band teamed up with director Pavel Trebukhin [IMMINENCE, BETRAYING THE MARTYRS, LANDMVRKS, NOVELISTS FR] for the accompanying video, which was filmed in a disused sandpit under extremely adverse conditions.

The new song is the second single to be lifted from the upcoming album, following from the release of Paradise, which was released last month.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Maria says, “for me, the song is a motivating ray of light in the pandemic. It is written honestly, bitterly and full of self-hatred, and yet it conveys the message that one literally must not despair, no matter how stressful the current situation in life is.”
