Genghis Tron announce new album ‘Signal Fire’
GENGHIS TRON have announced a new album!
The American experimental metal band will release their fourth full‑length album Signal Fire on June 12th, via Relapse Records. The record follows 2021’s Dream Weapon and was co‑produced and mixed by Seth Manchester [MODEL/ACTRIZ, BATTLES, BIG|BRAVE], intending to mark a sharper, more urgent evolution of the band’s sound. Expanding on the thematic shift behind the record, bandleader Hamilton Jordan says, “this album is very much rooted in the now.”
Alongside the album announcement, GENGHIS TRON have also unveiled the lead single and opening track ‘I Am All’, which arrives with an official music video. Speaking on the album’s title track, vocalist and lyricist Tony Wolski explains, “Signal Fire envisions a Kojima‑esque dystopia of endless proxy warfare, where the deluge of available information has outmoded the human ability to parse it. A world where those amoral, shameless and cunning enough can literally reshape the reality at their whim through sheer insistence. Honestly, this is probably about, like, late 2027…”
Expanding on the thematic shift behind the record, bandleader Hamilton Jordan adds, “this album is very much rooted in the now.”
