Godthrymm release new music video for ‘The Sea As My Grave’

GODTHRYMM have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track The Sea As My Grave, is taken from the doom metal trio’s upcoming debut album, Reflections, which is scheduled to be released in February.

The new song is a mournful lament with crushing waves of titanic riffs and pounding drums, punctuated with ghostly leads and sombre vocals, and is the latest single taken from the forthcoming new album, a mammoth slab of heavy, anguished, yet pummelling traditional doom that harks back to the classic era of ‘90s UK doom/Peaceville Records.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Hamish Glencross says, “lyrically, The Sea As My Grave paints a picture of a broken, tired human giving up their earthly remains to the sea for an eternal rest in the vastness of the oceans. Musically, we believe this song perfectly defines us stylistically as a band, and represents us perfectly as musicians. The video was pieced together by our friend Carl Assault from live footage taken in Belgium last summer. Thank you for listening.”

Reflections is set for release on February 14th via Profound Lore.
