Going Off release new songs ‘Servant To The Skin’ and ‘Smile’

GOING OFF have released two new songs!

Titled Servant To The Skin and Smile, the two new songs are the third pair of tracks the band have released following Pay The Price/Bed Of Concrete in October, and Crossroads/Weak Links in September. The Manchester-based hardcore band also released their debut full-length What Makes You Tick? in February this year via Church Road Records.

Speaking about the lead single Servant To The Skin, vocalist Jake Huxley comments, “Hellraiser is one of my favourite horror movies and I think I channelled a lot of that energy when writing this song. It’s about the fact that all human consciousness is bound to the human body. This living vessel, made up of flesh, bone, blood and all the gristly bits in between. It’s always been one of those ghastly outlooks I’ve had on life. The mind is a slave to the body it inhabits. We are servants to our own skin.”
