Grave Pleasures announce new album ‘Plagueboys’

GRAVE PLEASURES have announced a new album!

Titled Plagueboys, the upcoming album from the Finnish post-punk band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s Motherblood, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Century Media Records.

With music written by vocalist Mat McNerney [HEXVESSEL, CARPENTER BRUT, ME & THAT MAN] and guitarists Juho Vanhanen [ORANSSI PAZUZU] and Aleksi Kiiskilä, and then arranged together with bassist Valtteri Arino and drummer Rainer Tuomikanto, the upcoming album sees the lineup, who frantically hacked out Motherblood together, come of age. The upcoming album was recorded in Finland and produced by Vanhanen and his ORANSSI PAZUZU comrade Niko Lehdontie.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Society Of Spectres. Speaking about the new song, guitarist Juho Vanhanen says, “this song walks down a dark and crooked path that transcends into a nightmarish blood disco layer. That’s the place where all the ghouls gather to celebrate the downfall and feed on the masses.”
