Hamferð release new music video for ‘Marrusorg’
HAMFERÐ have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Marrusorg, is taken from the Faroese doom metal band’s new album, Men Guðs Hond Er Sterk, which was released on Friday.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Marrusorg describes a parent’s attempt to create an imaginary world to avoid facing the death of their child. The verses are a dreamlike nursery rhyme where the child is the hero in an underwater kingdom. The choruses represent the unbearable grief that floods over the parent when this fantasy melts away.”
