Harbinger release music video for ‘Descendants’

HARBINGER have released a brand new music video!

The video, for the track Descendants, is taken from the band’s debut album Compelled To Suffer, which was released earlier this year.

Speaking about the track, bassist Kris Aarre says, “musically, Descendants is an ode to old school thrash. Although it starts off with some slower headbang-centric grooves, it quickly develops into a fast and heavy track that should really get things moving in a live setting. Think ride bell and throwing up your metal horns. Conceptually the track deals with the idea of passing stories down through generations to learn from past mistakes, but understanding that the past can be viewed through rose-tinted glasses and we can’t take these stories at face value. It has implications on how religion and myth are communicated through generations, and how much credence we give to these concepts.”

The band will be playing Bloodstock Festival this weekend, as well as a UK headline tour this October.

Speaking about playing Bloodstock Festival, the band says, “playing Bloodstock is definitely a bucket list item to tick off. The fact that we have been asked to play the Sophie Lancaster Stage is an absolute honour, and we can’t wait to showcase our new album Compelled to Suffer to potentially a new audience. We have a lot to bring people at the extreme end of metal, and hope that people can push through their hangovers and join us for a milestone in our career.”

Live dates are as follows:
