HEAVYHEX announce debut album ‘True To You’
HEAVYHEX have announced their debut album!
Titled True To You, the upcoming album from the Long Island-based melodic/post-hardcore band is their debut full-length album, and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Bridge Nine Records.
The upcoming album was produced by Jay Maas [LOVE LETTER, DEFEATER] and sees the band dive into the realm of personal struggles, societal issues and the demand for equality.
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track True To You. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming debut album, following on from You Can’t Stay Here, which was released back in January.
Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, vocalist Dave Gastiaburo says, “the video closely follows the theme of the song. It’s about the importance of not folding to the pressure of your 9 to 5, while continuing to prioritize the things that you are passionate about. To stay true to yourself.”
