Holding Absence announce new album ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’

HOLDING ABSENCE have announced a brand new album!

South Wales post-hardcore trio have announced their third studio album, Modern Life Is Lonely, set for release on August 28th via Sumerian Records. The album is the follow-up to 2023’s The Noble Art Of Self Destruction and continues the band’s emotionally driven sound.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released a new single, Reflection, taken from the upcoming record. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Whisper Of A Dream, which was released last month.

Speaking on the track and today’s announcement, frontman Lucas Woodland shares, “we are ecstatic to release our new single Reflection, taken from our upcoming album Modern Life Is Lonely. This album is our boldest and most creative body of work to date, so we can’t wait for you to hear the whole thing in August! In the meantime, we hope you enjoy Reflection.”
