Holding Absence announce UK tour

HOLDING ABSENCE have announced a UK tour!

Set to take place throughout October and November next year, the upcoming shows will be the band’s biggest headline tour yet, rounding off with a huge show at London’s Electric Ballroom on November 6th. The tour will come in support of the band’s upcoming new album, The Greatest Mistake Of My Life, which is scheduled to be released in April.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “this album is about telling stories that are presented through the lens of hindsight, regret and looking back. There are songs that celebrate life when faced with death, and others that speak to the choices we make about how we live our lives. The fear of love, newfound respect for life and the covering up of depression are all subjects that rear their head. The Greatest Mistake Of My Life exercises emotion in many ways, and that was an important thing for us to do, because emotion isn’t rigid – it’s not just love or joy or sadness – it’s a lot of things.”

Tour dates are as follows:

October
28th Cardiff- Y Plas
29th Oxford – O2 Academy 2
30th Birmingham – O2 Institute 2
31st Sheffield – Leadmill
November
2nd Glasgow – Garage 2
3rd Newcastle – Think Tank
4th Manchester – O2 Academy 3
6th London – Electric Ballroom

The Greatest Mistake Of My Life is set for release on April 16th via SharpTone Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
