HRTLSS announce new EP ‘The Devil On My Shoulder’
HRTLSS have announced a brand new EP!
The Cambridgeshire alternative metal outfit have revealed their new EP, The Devil On My Shoulder, which is scheduled for release on October 2nd via Papercut Recordings.
According to the band, the upcoming release explores themes of toxic relationships, destructive desire, self-deception and personal accountability. To coincide with the announcement, HRTLSS have also unveiled Pulling The Thread, the latest single to be taken from the forthcoming EP, following on from Breathe Me In and To Dust.
Speaking about the new single, the band shares, “Pulling The Thread is an internal struggle between complacency in a toxic relationship and the desire for liberation. ‘Do you hear the butterflies?’ may seem like a ridiculous rhetorical question at first, however it acts as an omen symbolising change, rebirth, and new beginnings, regardless of acceptance. It’s as if that liberation on the horizon is a knot in your stomach that won’t go away and can’t be replaced. Forever at arms length, never reached for.”
