Hulder signs new partnership with Season of Mist & 20 Buck Spin

HULDER have signed a new record deal!

The Pacific Northwest-based dark black metal project has entered a new partnership with Season of Mist in a co-signing arrangement alongside longtime North American label 20 Buck Spin.

Formed in 2018 with the release of the Ascending the Raven Stone demo, the band has built a consistent body of work rooted firmly in traditional black metal. The debut album Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry cemented the project’s identity, followed by 2022’s The Eternal Fanfare mini-album and extensive touring across North America and Europe.
The project’s most recent album, 2024’s Verses in Oath, marked a further refinement of their sound, balancing raw aggression with austere atmosphere and melodic restraint.

Commenting on the signing, Season of Mist state, “few artists working in the black metal underground today carry the kind of integrity and singular vision that Hulder and Necreon have brought to this project. We couldn’t be more excited to have them on board—and what’s in store will be worth the wait.”
