Illdisposed announce new album ‘In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust’
ILLDISPOSED have announced a new album!
Titled In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust, the upcoming album from the veteran Danish death metal band is the follow-up to 2019’s Reveal Your Soul For The Dead, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Massacre Records.
The upcoming album was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio and the album artwork was designed by Timon Kokott of Art-Work. This is the first release of new music from the band since 2019. It is definitely not normal to see a gap like this between their releases, but several events slowed down the process. First, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the music industry and made the band focus on other things for a while. Then guitar player Rasmus Henriksen was diagnosed with brain cancer. Rasmus has now left the band to focus 100% on the treatment, and former guitar player Ken Holst is back in the band, replacing Rasmus.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a brand new song from the upcoming album; Spitting Your Pain.
