Imminence announce ‘Axis Mundi’ film and global screenings
IMMINENCE have announced an Axis Mundi film!
The Swedish metalcore outfit have announced Axis Mundi, a feature-length film that will be screened exclusively in cinemas ahead of the release of their forthcoming new album of the same name. The project accompanies their upcoming album of the same name, Axis Mundi, which is scheduled for release on October 2nd via Sumerian Records and follows 2024’s The Black.
The film will receive one-night-only screenings on September 29th in the US and October 1st across the UK, Europe and Australia. Featuring music from the upcoming album, including previously unheard material and never-before-seen visuals, the film expands upon the narrative established through recent singles The Sword That Never Bends, False Light and If Not Now, When.
Speaking about the project’s origins, guitarist Harald Barrett shares, “someone told us: ‘You’re such a cinematic band, you should take it to the next step and make a movie.’ You can’t just say that to a band like IMMINENCE.”
