InMe release new song ‘I Swear’

INME have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled I Swear, is taken from the band’s upcoming new album Jumpstart Hope which is scheduled to be released in January next year.

“This was the first song intentionally written for Jumpstart Hope, explains vocalist/frontman Dave McPherson“I wanted to try this big riffy thing that harkens back to the guitar work of Overgrown Eden.”

Aside from pulling influence from the band’s past as a collective unit, their latest single also represents some of the personal history shared by brothers and bandmates Dave and Greg McPherson. “The vocal melodies for this song were written by Greg using a poem I had written for him,” Dave continues. “The song itself is a confession, about admittance of fault and owning my own guilt. It has this upbeat, metal feel whilst also drawing on mine and Greg’s influence from VISION OF DISORDER – Imprint, which was an album that helped shape both of our metal tastes.”

Jumpstart Hope is set for release on January 17th via Killing Moon Records.
