InVisions announce new album ‘Deadlock’

INVISIONS have announced a new album!

Titled Deadlock, the upcoming album from the Yorkshire metalcore band is the follow-up to 2019’s Between You & Me, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via self-release.

Conceived and self-recorded by the band in lockdown and mixed once again by producer Joe Graves [ASKING ALEXANDRIA, DEAF HAVANA, GLAMOUR OF THE KILL], the band’s upcoming third album intends to be their most complete and ambitious statement to date. “It’s very much things that we’ve been through as individuals, but also things that a lot of people have been through,” says vocalist Ben Ville. “It’s something a lot of people can relate to, and it’s a lot more personal.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Annihilist.

Speaking about the new song, the band says, Annihilist was born from the self-doubt and uncertainty we experienced over the past year and half writing the record. When you lose a part of yourself it’s very easy to get stuck in a nihilistic spiral, second guessing your every move and trying to figure out who you are without that part of your identity. Annihilist captured the moment in time where we didn’t know if things would ever get back on track. Whilst it’s a dark and introspective topic the chorus is all about just letting go, leaning into that sinking feeling and just trying to enjoy the show.”
