James LaBrie releases new music video for ‘Am I Right’
JAMES LABRIE has released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Am I Right, is taken from the DREAM THEATER frontman’s upcoming album, Beautiful Shade Of Grey, which is scheduled to be released this Friday via InsideOut Music.
Speaking about the new song, LaBrie comments, “The anthemic song of the album with gorgeous chordal picking and progressions. A perfect marriage between melody and music. Extremely dynamic throughout with an epic and glorious ending.”
LaBrie‘s collaborator Paul Logue adds, “This song was a real labour of love from James and I. It holds a special place in our hearts and has such emotion, feeling, melody and the climax is just fantastic!”

Beautiful Shade Of Grey sees LaBrie traverse personal maturation, loss, a myriad of complex relationships, and his burning passion for music. Alongside contributions from Logue, also features work from guitarist Marco Sfogli, vocalist Theresa Thomason, EDEN’S CURSE keyboardist Christian Pulkkinen, and LaBrie‘s son Chance on drums.
Speaking about the album’s core themes, LaBrie says, “A lot of these lyrics are dealing with the beauty of human beings, and a lot are dealing with the grey areas of the in between. You’re not exactly happy, but you’re not exactly sad, either.”
