Jamie Lenman announces UK tour

Jamie Lenman has announced a UK tour!

The tour, set for November this year, will see Lenman touring across the UK in support of his latest solo album, Shuffle, which was released back in July.

Speaking about the tour, Lenman says, “I think this is my biggest solo tour ever and I’m thrilled to bits about it. We’re going back to some places I haven’t been in over a decade, lots of new venues and hopefully lots of new friends. I’m really really looking forward to taking a deeper dive into Shuffle now everyone’s had a bit of time to digest it and bring some deeper cuts into the set. But obviously there’ll be a generous helping of old faves in there too, and maybe a couple of surprises!”

Tour dates are as follows:

Tue 05 Nov – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
Wed 06 Nov – Birmingham, O2 Academy Birmingham 3
Thu 07 Nov – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Mon 11 Nov – Bristol, Thekla
Tue 12 Nov – Cambridge, The Portland Arms
Wed 13 Nov – Southampton,The Joiners
Mon 18 Nov – Brighton, Patterns
Tue 19 Nov – Norwich, The Waterfront
Wed 20 Nov – Gloucester, Gloucester Guildhall
Sun 24 Nov – Edinburgh, The Caves
Mon 25 Nov – Newcastle, The Cluny
Tue 26 Nov – Manchester, The Deaf Institute

Alongside the announcement of the tour, Jamie Lenman has also released a new music video for his take on THE BEATLES classic Tomorrow Never Knows, lifted from Shuffle. Speaking about the track, he says, Tomorrow Never Knows really sets out the store of the record in one go – it’s basically the title track, even though it’s not called Shuffle. I wanted it to be a nice surprise for people who had bought the album, putting it on for the first time, but now the secret’s out I’m happy for it to act as a little taster for the main thing and I can’t wait to play it on this upcoming tour.”
